Securement for the Oil Sands: Our training ensures the workforce understands the critical physics and regulations behind securing loads in harsh, industrial environments. We focus on preventing load shifts that can lead to catastrophic accidents and costly downtime.

- Heavy Haul Regulations: Navigating legislation specific to commercial carriers.
- Working Limit Loads (WLL): Calculating requirements for chains and binders on heavy loads.
- System Integrity: Inspecting anchor points and securement devices in rugged conditions.
- Practical Application: Hands-on training to ensure competency.
Training Details:
- Location: 3001 Snow Eagle Drive, Fort McMurray, AB.
- Duration: Approximately 4 hours (includes practical component).
- Certification: Upon successful completion (80% minimum on both theory and practical components), you’ll receive a certificate.
- Re-certification: Required every three years.
- Prerequisites: All students must bring valid government-issued identification.
- PPE Required: 6″ safety boots, safety gloves, hard hat, safety glasses, and hi-vis vests.
- Cancellations: 24-hour notice is required. Late arrivals or no-shows will forfeit the full course fee. Qualified substitutions are permitted up to the course start date.
