Course Overview:
Traditional parking lot fire demos can’t simulate a pressurized flange fire or an electrical cabinet ignition. Our VR technology allows workers to experience these specific hazards, teaching them not just how to use the extinguisher, but how to approach dangerous industrial fires safely.
Experience Realistic Training with Our Indoor VR Simulator
This meticulously designed simulator offers comprehensive training for effectively using fire extinguishers across diverse fire classes and scenarios. It features tailored modules for both industrial and residential environments, immersing users in realistic fire simulations.
Each module presents a wide range of fire types, allowing you to practice selecting and using one of three different extinguishers, strategically matched to the specific fire. Scenarios are crafted to mimic real-world conditions, emphasizing prompt and effective fire suppression. Your performance is scored based on how well you extinguish the fire, just like in an actual emergency.
This immersive experience, with its high visual fidelity and realistic scenarios, enhances learning and retention. It not only educates but also prepares individuals to respond confidently and competently in real fire emergencies.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Is VR training accepted by oil sands sites?
A: Yes. Virtual Reality is increasingly recognized as a superior training method for dangerous tasks because it allows for repetition and scenario variety that live training cannot match.
Q: Can you bring the VR system to our camp?
A: Absolutely. Our VR setup is mobile. We can set up in a camp recreation room or meeting hall to train your staff without transporting them to town.
Q: Does this course cover H2S fires?
A: While we cover the principles of gas fires, fighting a pressure-fed H2S fire is a specialized firefighting skill. This course focuses on the use of portable extinguishers for incipient (early-stage) fires.
