Course Overview:

Hosted at our Edmonton Operations Centre on 110 Avenue NW, this two-day program covers the safe operation of both Front End Loaders and Class 1, 4, & 5 Forklifts. By combining these courses, students receive the same rigorous instruction as the individual sessions while saving time and money.

What You Will Learn:

  • Forklift Mastery: Stability principles, load centers, and safe maneuvering in tight warehouse spaces.
  • Loader Operations: Leveling, stockpiling, and efficiently loading trucks with a wheeled loader.
  • Pre-Use Inspections: Critical walk-around checks for both hydraulic systems and lift components.
  • Safety Legislation: Understanding Alberta OHS regulations for powered mobile equipment.

Training Details:

  • Location: 20204 110 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB.
  • Two Day Duration: New & Experienced operators – Approximately 6 hours each day (includes practical component).
  • Certification: Upon successful completion (80% minimum on both theory and practical components), you’ll receive a certificate.
  • Re-certification: Required every three years.
  • Prerequisites: All students must bring valid government-issued identification.
  • PPE Required: 6″ safety boots, safety gloves, hard hat, safety glasses, and hi-vis vests.
  • Cancellations: 24-hour notice is required. Late arrivals or no-shows will forfeit the full course fee. Qualified substitutions are permitted up to the course start date.
